Diaper Covers are basically anything to put over a diaper to keep in moisture.  They are mainly used with cloth diapers and can come in a variety of styles and designs.   

Just like regular diapers, diaper covers come in a variety of baby sizes and can be grouped into one of two categories:  Pull on or fastening covers.  Pull on diaper covers are just like underwear.  However, they have elastic around the waist and openings for the baby’s legs.  They will either have a drawstring or elastic waist for adjustability.  Because of their convenience, it is a popular style.     

The fastening diaper cover fastens with Velcro or snaps.  Most fastening diaper covers fasten at the sides or in the front.  With the snaps, it makes it difficult for the baby to pull the diaper cover off. 

When going to purchase diaper covers, keep in mind that every brand is different and will have a different fit and feel.   

As I’ve said in previous posts and articles, do your research online prior to purchasing anything.  Doing your research online gives you the price advantage.  You can compare way more online as opposed to trying to locate an item then compare them in the store.  Also, if you order directly from the company online, some companies will give you free shipping or other incentives.  You may also get a free trial or other deals for your baby.  But, no matter which style of diaper cover you decide to purchase just choose the one that’s right for your baby.
