Training Pants

Training pants can help your toddler go independently to the potty.  They can help your toddler to go without hesitation and struggle.  Sometimes, it can be scary for toddles to go to the potty.  Therefore, as parents, we want to make sure that our toddlers can go with ease and without any problems.

Training pants are also a helpful transition to regular toddler underwear.  Training pants makes it easier for you to change your toddler while on the go.  Training pants make it a lot easier on the parent and toddler especially when your toddler makes it difficult to keep them still so that you can change them.

If you decide to go with training pants, I suggest purchasing cotton ones.  Toddlers tend to do better with cotton training pants.  Disposable training pants can be so absorbent that the child can’t feel if they are wet.  Therefore, a toddler will ignore the fact that they went to the bathroom making it difficult to potty train.

With cotton training pants, a child can immediately identify that they had an accident allowing a parent to identify and correct the problem.

Cotton training pants also helps in preventing diaper rash.  They are more natural and won’t irritate your child’s skin.

There are several different styles of cotton training pants.  Make it a big deal with your child and allow them to pick the color and design they would like to wear.

Training pants are an important transitional stage in your child’s life.  With a bit of patience and understanding, you’ll be amazed at how quickly your child will become potty independent and soon graduate to underwear.
